If you have only lost the printed version, then you can check your e-mails for the original ticket in order to print it out again. I arrive at LHR due in at 1240 on Sunday 19th November and want to bus down to Exeter. If I buy a ticket for the 13.30 bus but miss it, can I transfer to the 15.30 bus? If so, is there an additional cost for this?

National Express for instance, will not provide transfers to other services if you miss the bus, and suggests arriving at least ten minutes prior to departure.
